KISS Management Evaluation Review

FFY 2007/2008 Edition

The KISS Management Evaluation Review System permits examination of all the federal food stamp targets areas identified for review each year by the Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service, as part of the Management Evaluation component of the Federal Performance Reporting System outlined in 7 CFR 275. The target areas for the federal fiscal years (FFY) 2007 and 2008 (i.e. October through September) include: Customer Service (Expedited Processing, Normal Processing, Recertification Processing, Terminations), Intentional Program Violation, Recipient Claims, Program Access, Nutrition Education, Electronic Benefit Transfer, and Corrective Action Assessment.

Because the Management Evaluation Review is fluid and changes year to year, the KISS Management Evaluation database is designed as a stand-alone system for a specific fiscal year. Each year a new database is produced to address the review targets of that particular year; however, the data table export feature of the database allows the data tables to be exported to other databases for linkage and analysis with the data from previous and subsequent years. Because the target areas remained the same for the 2007 and 2008 fiscal year, the highlighted database can be used for both.
